Hello. the only possible problem is engine overheating. I used an 11s battery on a 36v motor. the engine overheated a lot, it is starting to lose power. especially on bigger hills. with a 10s battery, I haven't noticed it so far.
the engine from forestal and the m820 look the same from the outside, as I wrote in the post before, the information and the weight alone indicate that the engines are not the same.
@clix I don't know if your FW is road. I tried e-mtb and e-road firmware. in terms of strength equally. and...
everything is on paper. but forestal motor is 60nm and m820 is 75nm. I don't think any comparison makes sense here! According to their specifications, the forestal motor weighs 1.95 kg and the m820 weighs 2.3 kg. so there are differences.
at what cadences? m820 is an excellent engine. it gives the most at cadences 90-110. that is more than some brand engines. that's how it works for me on 36v e-mtb firmware. I tried the e-road firmware and it doesn't give much in high cadences. maybe you have e-road FW.
guys hello. a little advice please. I don't have that much experience and knowledge, so I'm asking for your advice. difference 36v vs. 43v vs 48v with m820 engine. I would change the 11s battery for something 10s, 12s or 13s. as far as power is concerned i know they are all similar. any advice...
I use air shock. 2mm in the length of the shock installation.
offset bushing for the reason that the bike is a mullet and then the bb is too low and the fork angle is 63°. with offset bushing, I got a height of bb approx. 350mm and HA 64-64.5°.
if you need a longer shock and longer stroke...
I think 216 will be too long. I put 210 with offset bushing on both sides, about the length of 213 and there is still 2mm space.
everything else you have to try yourself!
