You might be pleasantly surprised. Mine didn't look too bad & it's done three UK winters. But I do go out of my way to renew the barrier grease on the outer beatings.
I had my Bosch serviced by @Bearing Man last week at just about 4000 miles. There wasn't actually anything wrong with it per se but I've been off the bike with an injury, so it made sense to me to have it looked at. Now it's back in the bike, I can feel how much stiffer the cranks & by...
I would imagine that if Bosch & others are as fragile as some would have us believe, the manufacturers will be fully aware. Any tipping point will come from bike manufacturers concerned with reputation & applying heavy duty arm twisting. Bike shops I don't think will have anything like enough...
I'm back! Three weeks after eye surgery, been gagging for a ride & bored stiff without riding. Anyhoo, this, believe it or not is the entrance to a cold war nuclear bunker. In the 2nd picture, it's by the radio masts you can just make out at the top of the picture. People have explored it &...
Ah yeah, that'll be it. You're one step ahead, you.
I have no idea what you're doing here. You don't seem to want help, which this forum does very well, nor do you appear to be looking for someone at Bosch to take your axe grinding forward. You merely come across as the guy who could start an...
Don't let perfection be the enemy of the good is another way of putting it. Ebikes are unrecognisable from ten years ago, the frailties are arguably a price worth paying for the advancements.
Standardisation in this sphere is sorely missing but it's not much different to other worlds. A VW Golf waterpump won't fit a Vauxhall Corsa etc. although I remember happily the says when I ran a Cayman & bought plenty of spare parts from Skoda, after working out VW use common engine bits across...
I doubt manufacturers are going to trip over each other develop all new mtb only motors for a shoot out over a 10% market share. The numbers can't be there or they would have done it by now.
You have bought the charger 2 kit right? You should only have to connect to the bleed port on the damper body like this. Pretty sure it's only the first gen charger damper that bleed through the top.
