Not without drilling holes in the frame & binning the warranty in the process. Not a fan of the trend for making frames forcing the use of stem cable routing. Owners should have a choice imo.

No problem. Also check for a bent rotor per Dax & if you still have trouble then you may need to clean & lube the pistons in the caliper. A build up of dirt can stop them retracting correctly. There are a bunch of how to's for this on Youtube.

Mate of mine had two Specialized bikes ~£13k stolen from a locked outbuilding last year. His experience is the cops won't be interested at all, Specialized geo located one of them when it was swiched on & they still didn't want to know. So, keep on at the insurers until they cough up.

Sounds very much like caliper misalignment. The cure is to put the bike in a stand, loosen the caliper bolts just enough that you can move the caliper, realign it, testing as you go by rotating the wheel & once silent, do the bolts up gently a little at a time so as not to move the caliper &...

Considering pads are a safety critical part, I don't think I would be pissing about setting fire to them in order to save the ten quid or so for new ones.

It could be anything. There is alway a temptation to link changes to causes but that doesn't necesssarily follow so you need to eliminate sources until you find the root cause. Eg. pedal standing up to rule out the seatpost. Freewheel to rule out the suspension and so on. Creaks can be deceptive...

The entire premise of this is weird. You feel you have an issue in which a manufacturer is in breach of the law yet want a Youtuber to take up the case. Why not take legal action against Giant if you are confident of being in the right? You could open a civil case for a small sum & see the issue...
