Hey mate no great pics but here is the closest shot I could find. Closest point was around 5mm from the chain stay and brake line. Never had an issue in any situation, even muddy rides. I used a hope +40 mount, can’t remember the letter.
Bugger! When do you hear the rattle? Stationary, Motor off/on, uphill/ downhill, peddling, coasting? Could be one loose bolt or a misplaced cable, so easy to miss something. You might need a rebuild
Personally I agree with this and what I went with but I do mainly ride gravity trails.
Still a properly set up Levo SL is more fun on less intense trails imho. That shorter wheelbase and slightly lighter weight makes a subtle difference. If I had the money I would have kept the Levo SL for a...
I’ve had both and both modified from stock. The Levo SL is a great all rounder bike with the rights mods.
The Kenevo SL is a crusher but is a little longer, heavier (1/2kgs) and less playful. To be honest there isn’t much in it but based of what you ride I’d go a modified Levo SL. Up the front...
It was aimed at anyone who complains about motor whine. Do they not see the irony of what they are themselves are doing? At least the motor has a reason to whine.
As Doom said, ones a pivot and ones a motor mount.
Highly doubt you will see a full powered KSL, at best you may be able to squeeze the higher output 50nm Mahle but even that will push it. There just isn’t enough room.
.
If your complaining about the noise of an ebike motor, you should either invent a better one yourself or go back to an analogue.
Seriously, get over it. A motor is pushing your un grateful ass up a mountain and that’s still not good enough.
Fyi I’m 5/10 85kg kitted and on my brothers S3 29 Kenevo with estoria suits me perfectly with either the 500 or 550 spring.
Pretty good set up to be honest. One bike that would comfortably do it all.
No problems with a 29/2.5 maxxis. I used to run 2.6 butchers without an issue. Might be a problem in muddy condition’s picking up sticks and stones though as the clearance is close. I ran it also with a Sicomtb guard and it had around 5 to 10mm clearance. In the end I chose to run 2.3 tires as...
Oh the Motion kit. I have tried sourcing one of those here in Aus but no luck. Where did you get yours?
As for the extra travel, it’s not 100% needed but I have always run maximum possible travel in my bikes as it helps with my dodgy back. When it gets rough though I am always glad to have it.
