You wont regret 29er rear. Also I found turbo 100/100 No difference in battery usage compared to my KSL. As in within a couple percent with both my brother and I swapping bikes mid rides. I only rode turbo though.

29 x 2.4 fit easily. Even in the shorter “27.5” chain stay it fit but with around 6-8mm clearance.

Can anyone who has ridden both Gen 1 and Gen 2 Mahle motor tell if there is a difference in power as the two Gen 2 bikes I have ridden have no perceptible difference over my KSL. If anything my KSL is more punchy down low. I have now been told by two shops that they found the same thing.

Save your self time and money and go a Shimano 10speed setup. Will be your cheapest and probably strongest set up.

S3 will be the better all rounder S4 will be best for DH You can comfortably ride both but the S3 is much nicer to throw around.

I used a Sicomtb Kenevo FF rear guard I had lying around. Wasn’t a perfect fit but has done the job to keep mud away from most of the linkage. Tire’s are 2.3 with room to grow

Thanks Zim for the shout out. Really simple answer is if you have mates with FF that love turbo stick to that. Otherwise KSL for everything else. It’s an amazing bike. If they can up the nm a little more that would make it the perfect bike.
