Thanks - I really like the color so congrats on yours :)
Looks like I may have a motor issue
The reach is long for me because I have a short torso and long legs and specialized geometry has always fit me best but I’m increasingly having to shorten the reach and increase the rise with these...
Went for my first real ride today with my 2020 comp. I was surprised how noisy the motor is, even in eco mode. Is this to be expected? Lbs says it’s normal Even though he hasn’t heard it since shop is closed for covid. I had test ridden the 2018 which was quiet in eco then progressively louder...
Yes my LBS mentioned this about 3 weeks ago well before it was on the website when I was deciding which bike to order. I decided to go with the comp so couldn’t take advantage of it. But as mentioned above I think they’re trying to beat the covid sales curve with the models that aren’t selling...
It’s not legal in many parts and in the park under consideration here ( in WA ) but I think calling 911 is way overblown. The problem is irrational hate from other mountain bikers who are threatened by e-bikes for some strange reason. We see a bit of that from some horse riders, but it also...
It would be great to have a headlight in the Levo that uses on board power both for city riding and in case you get caught out in the dark in the backcountry, or if you do night riding.
There seems to be only one plug and play solution currently available from lupine:
Lupine headlight for...
I just picked mine and brought it home then noticed a small scratch in the top tube. It’s small and my wife thinks I’m crazy to worry about it but at 6k This is not a trivial purchase and I was planning to wrap the bike before anything happened to it and so am a bit disappointed. Lbs owner said...
Dealer says bike should be here next week. Can’t wait. My first e-bike.
Any other riders from the US here? How are you dealing with all the hate? There’s a thread on mtb r where they were discussing calling 911 on someone riding a class 1 in a local bike park!
I have one on order and dealer agreed to put the same 2.6 butcher on the back at no charge since read somewhere that the narrower eliminators also have more slip. Hopefully that helps with mud too and I don't have to worry about changing them out right away.
Thanks that’s good to know! I have a specialized Roubaix, stumpjumper, and a fuse. Ive looked at other brands but the specialized geometry always fit my odd body better and I’ve come to love the brand. So I can’t imagine owning another bike, but this is a much bigger investment and we all want...
As someone who has my first Levo on order I’m getting quite concerned reading the thread. Winters where I live are much like the UK. What is the cost of replacing a motor after 2 years? If it’s enormously expensive, that’s an issue.
Do the 2020 models come with the little 2-piece guard installed for the motor in front of the chain stay or do we have to get the dealer to do it afterwards?
Thanks Paolo. I also researched these threads and saw Specialized Communique on this that using Blevo doesn't void the warranty so I feel good about it. :)
Hi,
Ive heard dealers voiding warranty from using the app. What is the way to ensure that doesn't happen? I'm awaiting delivery on my new levo and look forward to using this given mission control doesn't support heart rate features.
thanks
Anyone use this one for the motor? Looks well designed to not scratch the frame and bolts on to the motor housing?

Acch just noticed the post above, sorry!
But would appreciate an update
Many people ( some whose opinion I trust ) said that the guide re’s are great. So I finally ended up ordering the comp in storm grey today. I was torn between the taupe and that storm but decided to go with the blue color. Dealer said should be a few weeks. Can’t wait!
