Bosch CX and 750w/h battery. I usually charge to 85% and on most ride discharge to 40% ......on one occasion that "reserve" was useful because on getting back to the van I found that my phone had dropped out of my waist pack so had to do the whole ride a gain to look for...
answer....dont update!! I mean why bother when there is rarely any need? If the bike works, leave it alone!! Blutooth is a shortrange device to device comms which is rarely or ever used commercially in professional networks and has no IEEE international standard. The biggest risk of it failing...
I sympathise with the owners especially since the bike rides so well; but if they expect a better design of the bosch battery clamp will solve the problem I fear they will be disappointed.
I have no doubt re-designed, or 3rd party versions of the clamp, will last longer, but having followed the...
.............err I wouldnt!! You will be wasteing your time. Clean up the rotors...which are in a right mess..........use new pads. I think your issue is that the rotors should have been cleaned with IPA before use.....and then used with new pads.
No.....depending on the freehub it will either be serviceable or at worst need a new freehub. It's a simple process and servicing a freehub is something that invariably needs doing a couple of times a year. Remove the rear wheel, remove the cassette....the freehub is now exposed. You can then...
A few tips I have found that help success!
1. Remove any new tyre from its packaging a day in advance and lay it flat somewhere warm.
2. Don't bother trying to inflate with a floor pump...invest in something like the Airshot.
3. After inflation ( without sealant) using something like the...
Firstly you need a bike that matches your style of riding and experience/ skill level. Then buy the best bike in that category you can afford. If you are new to emtb you are best advised buying from a local bike shop so that you have that support at least during the warranty period. That may...
If your bike uses the LED Remote controller be aware that it uses a 3.7v rechargeable battery .....charged by the main battery when the system is switched on. The LED Remote battery has a 3 wire connection. Pos, neg, and control. The control wire is connected to a thermistor within the battery...
Agree with the a bove. The tyre should be on a 35mm rim width. That combined with running pressures too low means the tyre is completely out of shape and not performing as designed. Ideal mtb tyre width for a 30mm rim is 2.4/2.5. In my experience even 2.6 on a 30 rim is vague and unstable.
I suspect the green light is illuminated either by movement of the mech arm or by pressing test button. If the system is changing gear correctly it is unlikely the mech arm is at fault which just leaves the button. Have you checked to see if the button is slightly stuck in??
hope cranks have the self extracting system so you just need an 8mm hex. The tool you saw is for removing the captive self extraction nut if you ever needed to do that ( really the only time you would do that is if you wanted to remove the existing extraction nut to change to a different colour)
A few reasons why a bolt may come loose.....
In general a high torque fixing not subject to vibration or heat ,needs only to have clean undamaged threads lightly lubricated with grease or anti seize. High torque on bike fixings being anything over about 25nm. The torque setting is calculated to...
Gear cable routing is never easy on a full suspension bike. AXS is promoted mainly for its speed of gear change or ability to change gear under load whereas in fact it's main benefit is getting rid of that cable run.
Smith or Oakley for glasses or goggles. They both use optically corrected lenses and contrast enhancing features. It is the lens that makes up a significant part of the price.............neither are cheap, but you get what you pay for!!
