lighter weight is more of a marketing ploy than a specific riding benefit. Its relatively easy to make a lightweight emtb. XC tyres, carbon everything, small battery, half powered motor..................... expensive and all big compromises even for a trail bike let alone an enduro bike!!
AND...
Assuming you were running tubeless before did you thoroughly clean the rim before doing the new rim tape? I suggest starting again. After thoroughly cleaning the rim apply your new rim tape making sure it sits into the centre well of the rim with no trapped air bubbles and that the tape is...
My home turf is Dorset. I know where there is likely to be deep water after lots of rainfall. In most cases riding the margins is where the water is most shallow....otherwise there is often a banking/verge that can be used. Worse case scenario is walk it or turn back. What you don't do is plough...
..........and you have "trail" set at 20/70. I dont know how they name those values on the new App but in MC they were referred to as pedal support and max. For trial I had mine set at 50/100 and turbo at 100/100 Eco at 30/50. nominally the Brose power is specified as 4 times you. ( "You"...
I bought from the main Oakley website but did not see any reference to "Torch". Regardless I am completely impressed with the prism trail. A couple of other positives for anyone else considering Oakley kit. The lens I have been using for about 5 years now has survived a few crashes and numerous...
I have used Oakley Jawbreaker mtb glasses for quite a few years and always used the "Low Light" lens in them. Most of my riding is in Forests and as any of you who ride forest trails will know, as soon as you enter a section with a lot of tree cover any lens with more light filter puts you in...
im afraid you fail to understand the principle...............you must have spent ages reading and writing on this thread....time you could have spent on more productive activity like doing some maintenance on your bike or planning how to get the best out of it knowing its weaknesses. That is the...
a controller activates auto shut down after a set period ( usually 10 minutes) of inactivity....that is no communications. So I suspect your blutooth communication failed in order to trigger the shut down.
Probably like many others I knew very little about emtbs when I bought my first.....a Levo Comp. It did not take me long to better understand their inherent weaknesses and this forum played a big part in that. At the age of 68 years at the time the Levo not only vastly improved my enjoyment of...
Check the mode settings in the MC app. There is one firmware change that supposedly removed spikes in Watts. Some reported less powerful assist after that but rectified it by turning up the "acceleration " setting to 50%+.
its a Formula freehub but Formula only supply OEM and you will be lucky to find any spares specific to it. The same freehub was on my 2019 Levo comp and the DT Swiss kit was what I used to service it.
Don't submerge them and don't aim a jet wash or hose at them....apart from that you should be OK. I have done thousands of miles on emtbs ...both Brose and Bosch since 2019 including 5 very wet uk winters....no motors problems.
Just to provide a different perspective......
If motor manufacturers were to readily supply replacement parts would that add to the base cost for a motor? They do not after all sell anything direct to consumer so brands and/or lbs would have to carry stock.
There are many among us that think...
Not sure why any bike brake system should be affected by vertical storage. The systems are sealed. It would only make a difference if the system was not bled correctly with air still in it......but then the brakes would not work well even on the level!
Bosch is merely a supplier in this scenario so has no say in how any brand chooses to secure the battery. What is relevant however is that Bosch chose to design a complete system consisting the battery, rail, and clamp.............for a reason!
The majority of firmware updates are aimed at detecting the latest deristriction developments, and usually promoted as fixing firmware bugs. Yeah right!
I looked at those when buying new pedals recently but ended up going for Race Face Atlas for a couple of reasons. The Aeffect Rs are a bit too big in my book, and the Atlas is a little more compact, a little thinner and has a concave platform which is something I always go for. i think both are...
