Can anyone provide a link to what tools I need to extract and install the pivot bearings on a Turbo Levo 2020 Comp please
Or give me an idea of what I need to do this job. I take it I need to buy both a bearing extractor and a bearing press?
I am sick of having to take the bike to the mechanic...
I did not need to remove the motor to do the internal cable routing.
I have noticed that a Pin has broke on the Battery to Motor cable. On the end that plugs into the motor not the battery. I think this could be the cause.
I noticed new power cables are £80! Surely that is extremely overpriced
Turbo Levo Comp 2020 won't start up. The only thing I've done on it in recent weeks is tried to install a OneUp Dropper Post to replace the very problematic X Fusion one, including the external cable routing.
I have been struggling with this job so it may be possible that I may have moved one...
Muc-Off E-Bike Drivetrain Tool
Chain cleaning tool - Finally an easy way of being able to backpedal the chain for maintenance ?
Apparantly having read the reviews it is not compatible with all bikes and MucOff do not state a list of what bikes are not compatible
Does this work with a Turbo...
Since owning my Turbo Levo in 2020 I have had FAR more mechanical problems than electrical.
Had a couple of motors replaced but it has been the crappy standard mountain bike parts that have let me down by far!
The Fusion X Manic dropper post on my 2020 Turbo Levo now has up and down play (not to be confused with side to side) does this mean the cartridge is worn or could it be something else ?
Is it possible to get replacement cartridges for these in England or is it just time to sell it cheap and...
Reason I ride manual more in Winter:
1) Fatigue isn't as much of an issue, as I don't often ride many consecutive days in Winter
2) The E Bike is a bright colour and shows up all the mud. The manual bike is grey and the mud is much less noticable
3) It's easier to fit a full mudguard setup to...
I very rarely use my E Bike if conditions are going to be wet and muddy.
I get out the basic manual bike instead.
In North West England the ground is usually wet and muddy between November and March even if it isn't raining on the day so gets very little use during that time of year
The tyres are the hardest part of any bike to clean - Hosepipe definetely needed for those! More power the better. Bollox to the bucket and water
For the rest of the bike I just turn the hose down to very low power and use a brush
When my E Bike is knackered and out of date I may not replace it with another E Bike, but possibly a manual bike.
They're too expensive, maintenance-heavy and difficult to take on a plane.
I've not decided for sure yet but can't justify the cons just to make climbing quicker.
Do any other E Bikes have a press once to activate and press once to deactivate walk mode ? Or are they all designed like this where you have to keep your finger on a little buttom all the time
Currently in walk mode I have to keep my finger on a little button all the time for it to activate.
Is it possible to change settings somewhere so that walk mode can be set by only having to press the button once to activate it then press it again to deactivate it ?
This would make it far...
Maddening stuff this creaking while pedalling
I had a similar problem and it turned out to be the motor bolts were too loose and not the 18 NM that is required
After tightening them up the problem had gone
The Levo has done 8000km
I'll remember this post if the creaking ever returns as replacing...
Just ordered some foam weather stripping.
The Levo has done 8000km so maybe the plastic spacer has worn.
I'm not sure how long I've been putting up with this rattling as it has probably come on gradually over time.
After spending many hours trying to work out the cause of the rattling on a 2020 Turbo Levo I've found it to be the battery, test riding it with the battery out has finally proved to be the only way to get rid of the rattle.
Does anyone know how to silence it ? The battery bolt has been...
Turbo Levo Comp - 7000 miles. I'm now getting to the state where the warranty runs out soon but the extended motor-only warranty continues for another 2 years. There are a lot more things that go wrong on these bikes than just the motors. Had more problems with the dropper, gears, suspension...
