Thanks for all your help @Zimmerframe - it seems it was just water or dirt causing the issue on this old battery not the control unit thankfully as spraying the buttons and connector with WD40 and getting an old toothbrush inside seems to have solved it (y)

Is it hard to get to the connector at the motor? Ideally don't want to go to the dealer :oops:

Hey all My trusty 2019 Specialized Kenevo Gen 1 has suddenly got stuck in turbo mode so pressing any of the handlebar control buttons doesn't work. As it's a Gen 1 I've also tried using the buttons on the battery and that doesn't work either - any ideas? :unsure:
