So we're discussing the facts??
I'd like to read some of this, please post a link perhaps rather than typing it again.. Perhaps a link to the GITHUB??
Cheers,
I think this is a good discussion,
I'm looking at the current Australian Standards for reference.. Firstly, AS15194-2016 still allows for mechanical measurement of power in Annex D by measureing speed over 20m and applying a forumla to calculate power.
I'm also using AS 60031-1 which is...
Well actually the international standard is pretty prescriptive about how to measure 250W nominal.. nowhere does it say anything about burning motors out. not that I can recall reading anyway. so having an M600 chassis, so long as it meets the requirements of the international standard would...
Thanks for the advice, I agree sometimes you reset flags through a firmware reset. However, the actual reported current was 2.5A in the controller, whereas the reported current from the Battery was 40mA. If you take the Battery current as truth, there is something happening to make the...
Error 27 is Controller over current
With the Besst Tool.. This looks like the "Controller Current" reporting around 2.5A, but actually the "battery current" only reports around 40mA (idle on the bench).
Option 1 - Try reflashing the firmware - This worked for me once. for around 3 months, and...
MY.guess would be software detuned M600 so that customers can just firmware patch it later on their own much in the same way they deregulate motorcycles to comply with learner limits. It's what I would do
actually that's not true.. the cassette bent teeth first ride, so I am using a shimano 10sp cassette, but otherwise the shifter and derailleur have been quite good.
I've followed the CYC development from way back on the Endless-Sphere forum. It looks to be very well developed, but pretty loud apparently. THe BBS02 and BBSHD are very quiet, and if you can afford the BB clearance, they're a great choice. (no torque sensing though, just be aware)
Also note...

The Helm is NOT a lightweight fork. and everything else is not particularly light weight. but there you go.
In the bottom photo I am testing out a SR Suntour TriAir Rear shock, and seeing how a "Mullet" goes.. not bad.. but not so vastly different that I'm sold either way
I have had some experience. I have found that if I am on the "Trip" display, I have no problems, but if I am on the "Power" display so I can see my Watts, I will receive an error 30. Fix by removing the battery and reinserting.
The solution is not to monitor the Watts or anything other than...
