We tinker a lot with wheels, tires and the Mino link depending on terrain, so the BB height varies from the low 330s to the mid 340s.
Current measurements (+/-1 mm or so) of our 9.7 EXes with 2.6" Rekon tires -
size Large, Low Mino link setting: 335mm
size Small, High Mino link setting: 341mm
Yes and No. The chain stay length pivot-to-pivot is fixed, about 463-464mm on our 9.7 bikes.
The Mino link is fixed in the yoke but slides in the seat stays and moves the pivot about 5mm.
The apx. lengths I measure for the seatstays are 475mm (Low) and 480mm (High).
Rob - around 200-300 miles both of our EXe bikes began to develop a “slight ticking noise” under load. The lockring securing the chainring was coming loose, and tightening it to 50Nm cured it. No further issues at 500+ miles. Check (recheck?) yours if you haven’t.

Did you hit the “Apply To Bike” button at the bottom of the Motor Tuning page before returning to the main Dashboard?
My Trek app even asks if I’m sure I want to exit without doing so.
there's this web search engine with a funny name, "Google" . . . ;)
(of course you'll need to call to confirm "in stock" as listed)
*** Apologies for the large pics, I tried to insert Thumbnail images ***
any 20-spline bottom bracket type tool will work
Park Tool BBT-22 is a good one
I use the same old tool I used for Race Face cinch lock rings -
Be sure to check yours!!!
the locking on my 9.7 was coming loose, estimate ~10Nm
mrs levity's was very loose, less than I'd tighten stem bolts...
Your wife may be better off on a Levo SL. The SL is lighter and will be much easier for her to handle. It has plenty of power for a smaller rider.
A XS Comp Alloy model is.listed as available in Great Falls, MT, on the Specialized web site. Not that long of a drive from CO for the right bike...
I like to set max assist to 300W at all three levels. That way the fractional assistance continues as I put in more effort at any level. Often this can reduce the need to switch to a higher assist level. Also, you don’t feel a “drop” in support as you exceed a preset limit. It’s not a good way...
@Swingset - yes, many Utah trails are rough with lots of rocky ledges, step-ups, step-downs, etc. However, these tend to be harder on the rider than on modern high-end mtbs. (Pedals can suffer abuse if your BB is too low or you’re not careful.)
My EXe 9.7 and mrs levity’s 9.7 are running fine...
Time for a few more pics of the EXe in the wild -
Heading toward The Needles District of Canyonlands Natl Park in southeastern Utah
Getting closer
Caught after an embarrassing get-off
Slickrock playtime
It’s time for more pics of the EXe in its preferred habitat.
My bike heading for the “More Fun” trail near Canyonlands, Utah.
Mrs levity’s bike enjoying slickrock in canyonlands
and near Dolores, Colorado
(can you spot Ernie?)
Our EXe 9.7 bikes here in the U.S. came equipped with SLX 7100 brake levers, calipers, and disc rotors instead of the Deore 6100 components listed on the website.
We did not complain to the shop or to Trek ;)
Sometimes supply chain issues can work in one's favor
I use this 26 oz. bottle on my Large Fuel EXe. Mrs levity's Small will only accept a 20 oz. bottle.
As mentioned by @R2thek longer summer rides require a fanny or backpack with bottles or a bladder.
