Fuel EXe Trek Fuel EXe Megathread!

    Fuel EXe Trek Central app

@TQmotorguy - @Julie_X1 has it right. I have/had a Vado SL, Levo SL, and a Creo SL (yes, I’m a bike whore). The SL motors whine, whereas TQ motor is whisper quiet. Power is about the same, but the TQ comes on stronger earlier so it feels more torquey at lower cadences. I like that! However...

    Pic of the Day

🤣 For sure, we’re wimps here in SoCal when it comes to wet weather. A bit of fog on the coast and we whine and hibernate. That said, it’s been a wet winter. Los Angeles has received ~30” rain in our four month rainy season Dec-March (compare that to London’s average of 23” over 12 months). Some...

    SoCal Newbie here

@jnolasco1 - If you like your La Sal Peak enduro you might take a look at Fezzari’s new Timp Peak, a similar 170mm bike but with a motor. You can even buy just the frame/motor/ battery and transfer your La Sal parts. https://fezzari.com/products/timp

Fuel EXe What settings do you have for your Trek Fuel EXe motor tuning?

You'll have to experiment with different settings to find what works best for you in terms of fun, range, etc. Some of like to set max assist at full power so the motor continues to reward your effort at whatever assist level you choose.

Impact of California rain on my local trail

It pains me to see that in this day and age there are folks that remain so uninformed that they don't know the difference between "weather" and "climate". Let's get back to pics and discussion of this season's effects on California (or other) mtb trails.

Impact of California rain on my local trail

This thread was supposed to be about the effects of this winter's heavy rains on trails (in California ). EMTB is not the right forum to discuss climate change theories. Let the kooks post their nonsense on Twitter.

Breakout discussion - Lay it down

This thread has drifted off the rails. I realize that ebikes have motors,, but discussion about what are commonly referred to as “motorcycles” probably belongs in another thread if not another forum. Interesting stuff, but . . .

    73 year old bone breaker.....

Another “70+ bone breaker” here, a few years older than the OP. Thankfully, a few less bones broken and most of those were in previous cars or on/off motorcycles. As for MTB here’s a lovely pic of me back around the time of my 70th birthday following an over-the-bars incident. The photo was...
