Mine gave the error code after being stood for a week. I went to charge it up and it wasn't happy.
Can't remember what the rest of the code was but it wasn't moved when I started charging it, so not sure if the torque sensor is faulty as no load was applied.
I'm hoping Bosch might do a bit of...
Mine has died at about 4.5k miles and just under 3 years old.
Error 500 basic code.
I've done the outer seal kit and bearings as per my video.
Been waiting for Bosch to tell me how much anal plundering it's going to cost for a new motor.😭
Now I have a Gen 4 that's totally dead and needs a replacement.
The Gen 2 is now nice and quiet.
And the 500 race bike is in bits at the classic TT on the Isle of Man .
Still got another two we can destroy yet 🤔
I also got suckered into a race and ended up coming 9th in the ebike category. Not bad considering that some were using chipped motors!
Quick edit. Forgot to mention my mate tells the guy giving him grief to F off around the 11 min mark.
Plenty of jabbering then 🤣
X01 will solve all your problems 👍

Bummer, I've just returned from a couple of weeks mtbing in the Algarve on a hire bike and my bike has had a hissy fit because I left it at home!
Are all error 500 codes terminal?.
It's just under 3 years old with 4k miles on the clock.
I'd get InTouch with Bosch if I was you.
There's no point in putting silicone sealant into the hole if the motor has already got water in it.
It could be a different casing or they could have cocked up and you may be due another new motor.
