Never been to morzine but the natural trails at Samoens are all ridable from the lifts without a battery fitted.

The 38 uses a 36 air shaft. The space is taken up by a thinner tube with a 38mm top and bottom section. The spring has a shrink wrap too stop any internal damage to the fork, but it doesn't really apply to the 38 as the internal is a separate tube and can be replaced. As the middle picture shows...

I wrapped mine with self amalgamating tape. It's rubbery and available from Toolstation.

I repaired a broken wire on my old Bosch Gen 2 bike.

That is something I will consider 👍 I do believe that the bafang motor is fully repairable. Not sure yet how well it performs against the Bosch, but a rubber band will work better than a dead motor🤔

I have eventually got my bike back after refusing to spend £720 on a new motor. Error codes are 500331 and 500366 which relates to software errors? It's currently on its way to the bearing man for his advice on whether it's serviceable or not 🤞

Not for me they haven't with similar time and miles.£750 is what they want now for a new motor. I've told them to fuck right off and picking my bike up tomorrow and going to send the motor off to an independent specialist for possible repair 🤞

Shouting bike behind seems to work for me. It's enough to get them running around in circles until they see you.

My bike down tube is full of bubble wrap trying to stop things rattling.

Thanks for the reply. I was told the code but can't remember. I have had zero problems until now. Bike put away and I went away for 2 weeks. Put on charge on return and got the error without even moving bike. Been waiting about 3 weeks for Bosch to decide what they want to do. I will phone shop...

He also has some wheels that could be for nothing as well 🤔
