That predictable…
I genuinely don’t think there’s anything else I can change. The only thing that’s not been touched is the cranks. My old SL ones were 165, and these are 170… but I haven’t hit a rock yet!!
Maybe some sort of rear mudguard for winter… but that’s an accessory rather than...
More money than sense? There’s some on here would refer to it as ‘Dentists Spec’!
I’m definitely not big in oil, but I’ve spent the last 20 years working predominantly in Oil and Gas.
I’m sure a Comp would have been more than enough bike for me, but I’ve been enjoying the upgrading process...
There’s actually quite a few reviews if you search for TransX EDP01.
General consensus is it’s decent for its price point, but not as quick (or good) as a Reverb AXS.
I’ve done a bit of digging, and Trans X and Brand X are the same thing.
Here’s the datasheet, and a Pinkbike review.

It lives in my house, so it’s cleaned to the N’th degree after every ride! Mods are made before it’s ridden again (obviously!) which is why the pics are always immaculately clean! 😎
I just saw this on CRC website.

A Brand X wireless dropper that has a 200mm option.
I can’t see any reviews or any mention of this other than...
Another minor change…
Through all my contact with Industry Nine about swapping my wheels, they advised that they DO actually have a headset for the Levo SL.
The iRiX for the Levo SL is about £150 for the whole thing, which includes bearings and a headset cap. I advised them I already have...
What do you have on your Levo SL? Mine is 17.1kg without compromising on anything. I also know where I can knock a couple of hundred g’s off it, which I might do some of for summer.
A small parcel today... an Industry Nine iRiX headset top cover, to replace the badly colour matched Wolftooth one I have.
Some nice free stickers too 👍
I don't think I can get away with sitting watching this at work... so it'll have to wait until this evening! Well done on finding it so quickly though 👍
Exactly - more efficient could be marketing BS for 0.0001% more efficiency. Technically it IS more efficient, however the difference is so small that no one is going to notice it... but they might as well claim it!
I'll have to have a look for the video again when I have a bit of time. I...
I think it was in the video Rob put out when the SL1.2 motor was first announced - when he was discussing it with the guy from Specializeds E division (I've been trying to remember his name for about 10 mins now, and have given up - Marcus / Marco maybe?). I'm pretty sure in that video, he said...
I found my Levo SL 1.2 much more torquey on the same settings as I used to ride my 1.1… and as a result, the battery drains quicker (obviously!).
I tried to match my 1.1 motor setting (30/80) on the 1.2 - which has ended up being 15/30.
What I’m trying to say, is that you don’t HAVE to use...
I got an email from a Saudi prince offering me over 10 million USD for just giving him £10000 to help clear his funds. Hopefully that’s now in his account.
Once I get my payout, I’ll up my donation considerably 👍
I got a couple of Specialized Cannibals the other day to try for winter... and if I line the CANNIBAL text up in the centre of the valve, the SPECIALIZED text at the top is off centre on ONE of them (at one side). I was tempted to take it back to the shop and get it exchanged for a non 'faulty'...
