Yes, it's the bolt below the steering tube. It should be just tight enough you properly preload the headset bearings to have no free play before you tighten the stem bolts. After stem bolts are tightened to spec torque, you tighten below bolt again somewhere to 3-4Nm to secure it...
This depends on what terrain you are riding, for hills around me 11-42t on 32t chainring was sometimes pretty masochistic on long/steep climbs. Now I have changed to Eagle 11-50 and it's a bit better, still I think I could go 10-52t on 30t chainring without problems...
Yea, that how it is on Shimano. It looks shite but if will be more straight cable bend will stick way out of the bike and much more chance you will catch it in something and rip the cable out ... Sram guide wheel is superb compared to this.
My first motor died at about 2500 miles so not as lucky as you. I make about 2000-3000 miles per year on emtb, 3000 miles is not neraly enough to tell if motor is reliable or not. I think majority of motors should whitstand at least 10000+ miles to deserve to be called 'reliable'.
On most 11sp MTB cassettes largest cog is somewhere from 42-46t, while 12sp usually have 50-52t, so yes overall you can achieve higher cadences on 12sp. Also if you climb the same hill on 52t vs on 42t at same cadence you will use more power (be faster) on 42t while on 52t you will use less...
Why is NX cassette considered as issue?? SX Eagle cassette is also for Shimano freehub ...
I have upgraded from 11sp to 12sp and regarding durability I don't see much of a difference. The main reason (beside 12sp being AXS) I have upgraded because of largest 50t cog vs 42t on 11sp which helps...
For riding you will need as much light on the trail as possible, red light is for being as stealthily as possible while still having some usable amount of light. Absolutely no point and usability of having red light for riding...
Bell Super DH is indeed DH rated (that's why is also heavier) I haven't noticed anyone would say otherwise ...
How do you like Spherical MIPS on this helmet? Do you feel the outher shell moving while riding?
My current helmet is Bell Super 3R for almost 2 years, like that helmet alot, saved me many times, on one crash I even felt how MIPS system saved my neck, but it's just time for a new one, so I now have Bell Super Air on order and should be delivered this week. Not 100% sure I will like so...
