Me too...it's ok to be on the top tube with good peripheral vision but it's optimal to be more centerish on the bars and probably safest to watch the trail in front simultaneously.
Yeah, it's a small surface area. Slightly bigger than a USD quarter coin. I tried to be creative (and a little rebellious) with my skull theme and just glued a metal Jolly Roger pennant on to it in order to be at least "functionally cosmetic".🏴☠️
I know it's a little off center. But so am I...
I think he has a Version 2 frame for the coil fitment (V2) and generation 3 (gen 3) motor guard.
Looks like the Gen 3 can take a hit.💪 I'm still waiting for more field data before, and if I buy one!😁
The first batch peeps were all in the same....they projected by early March...first framesets went out in early May. 3-month delay was daunting, and I considered asking for a refund, especially on the question of wider airshock fitment like my MegNeG ultimate.
Fortunately, turns out to be the...
6 months😁 But I was one of first to pay last January. I think 3-6 weeks if in stock to US (AZ) for me for the warranty frame, so comes in to West Coast (Long Beach, CA).
Technically, SZZS specs it for 170 mm as per their geo chart. So, peeps could be comfy with a 170/155 mixed wheel 29/27.5 if more travel is desired.
As most know, I run the 180 fork with 27.5x3.0 front/27.5x2.8 rear (the 3.0 is taller), so I'm have no steering/handling issues and the BB height...
If you want long travel and want an Enduro set up...the CEF50 geo easily accommodates.🤟
I'm running 180/165 on a large frame since last May. Sure most are doing a mid-travel 160/150 as spec'd, and mixed wheel. But the frame works with bigger cush too, which makes tech climbs more plush and...
Here's the main thread for the CEF50 battery extender. Maybe direct convo over there so we don't get too redundant?👇
It will also cover the basic extender dilemma... 🔋🔋🔋⚡...
You're the technical EE whisperer and translator for those of us not so smart in the "magic" of electronics!😎
Here's the extent of my knowledge. 👇That and I guess batteries fade over their lifespan due to dendrite build up between the anode (-) and cathode (+) disrupting e-flow? 😋 That's not...
If you already have a 200 x 40 shock just mount and try it. If not, I wouldn't bother.
But I remember a mechanic at my local bike shop that I consulted with on my "overstroke" for CEF50, who is a big dirt jumper rider, giving me sage advice for this build...if it's WITHIN the E2E spec you can...
Nice job.💪
Looks like you wired it to the main battery via the driveside motor guard fairing? Should be interesting to see your step-by-step process in the near future!👊
