Ugh oh! This thread topic is in danger of turning into an Eye-Triple E mini symposium.😉🤣🤣🤣 For us laypeeps....Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. (I'm from a fam of EEs, but not me obviously).😎
I appreciate the friendly reminder. My only attribute is that not knowing better, I'd stay with the stock plug interface out of fear of messing up my electronics. That and avoiding plugged-in toaster ovens while in the bathtub especially if the spurned ex girlfriend is offering to heat up...
I've got a big 3" roll of black vinyl tape that I've been using that usually lasts a couple of chargings. Quick and cheap.👍
Gonna see if I can adapt this. Sticks out a touch but I could buy extra when the hinge fails.👇
Yeah, I guess that's an option. Splicing on different connectors might be a last ditch effort.
If so, maybe upgrade to a double-hinged plastic dust cover.
HELP! Anybody else run into this yet?
Need a replacement charging port dust cover for our CEF50/720Wh/36V frame.
SZZS is clueless on simply identifying the proper size. 😝
Sure, I can order another charging port somewhat inexpensively from Linda($8 +15 shipping to the US), but it's the...
Yes the bulky hydraulic cable was engineered well but wireless was the next upgrade step that I was wanting for. Unfortunately, Kindernay went bankrupt. Hoping that someone like Cane Creek or Industry Nine might purchase the patient rights. Somebody mounted one on a Kenevo. It worked well but...
Sorry to be "that guy". I have old axis gx...wireless is nice. But I really really want the Kindernay lite VIi 7 speed internally geared hub...no more pesky derailleur, shifting under load and when stopped, 480% range, super low maintenance, and weighs the same +/- g as Axis Gx. That or a gear...
You'd order from Jean/Linda at SZZS. They make it in-house for the CEF50 frame. Latest release was last November/December but a few have banged Gen 3 up a little and it's held so far.👍
For me: Gen 1 and Gen 2 broke on a soft log step up and a sand ridge on a steep bank roll down...
XTM8120 w/DPC 245 power mode selector.
It fits between the clamp and bridge but creates an angle that might not work for all. I run 800 mm bars and needed the dropper lever further out (not showing currently) so I used the solo clamp rather than I-spec ev integrated brake clamp. From M600 rig...
Ok gotcha...I think. No cable for dropper but electronic wire instead to run off main battery with servo and PCB (?). Does that sound right?
I'm thinking the new direct battery e-dropper is the way forward. I run old AXS shifting, so one less hard cable would be nice.
But it would be...
This dropper is $400 USD and wires directly to the motor or main battery not sure which. It's OEM now but available next year.
