When TC and I got ours, a long time ago, the 245 was extra cost. Depends on who you got the motor from. Remember if you want to connect Go+ the display must be 245version3.

Other Specialized = High tech company?

You mean those manuals that say "this is a bicycle, it has two wheels. Always ride with two hands on the handlebars....." In the US we stopped reading those in the 1990's. Actually that is not true, we never read those.

SD20. But remember it is available with a diamond shape and also a square panel mount. You don't want the square one. It also comes in many pin configurations so get the right one for your bike.

It has turned out to be a good plug but it does stick out a lot and if you have narrow q cranks they could hit. I forgot you are just using it for charging so it does not matter. It does have a nice screw-on cap.

The problem I see is that the plug I got and the one you originally got have a diamond shaped opening with two screw lugs that are glassed into the frame. Your new candidate is designed for a round opening, If you were doing this from scratch that might be fine but not when it is already cut-out...

I found the app to be a bit flaky on the version of bluetooth used at both ends. If you have a version 3 245 then maybe use a different phone with a newer ANdroid and hence newer bluetooth. But is must be 5.0 or later.

@Phatty In general you can't mix and match chargers. That is what typically leads to a headline about a fire. Chargers are all different. Some are simply a pair of wires for voltage. Some have temperature sensing, some are canbus and monitor everything about the battery. You must have a charger...

There is a wide variety of things called a BMS. If it was a good BMS it would have over voltage shutoff and not work with the 52v charger.

I higher the voltage the lower the amps will be, given the same power level.

Neeko the question is can you change the max speed with the GO+ or only besst tool with a dealer password?

SZZS specific CEF50-main thread (initial builds and troubleshooting related only)

Sure but the motor speed controller is in the motor, unlike some of the other Bafang motors with external speed controllers, and the computer/display controls the speed controller. With these units you don't touch the speed controller. All the options are in the display computer. I have not even...

Yes you need to ride some offerings to get the idea of what people are talking about. Also I agree you have control of the amount of assist and you can tailor the settings in the computer to your taste on many but not all bikes. But you can't change the weight. A full power bike is going to be...

I have not used GO+ or Besst. As far as I understand if you can connect bluetooth, which requires the version3.0 245 display, and the app can connect to the display you can do everything the app offers with the motor connected, which is not as extensive as the Besst tool. But someone who has...
