    Sounds too good to be true. More power more crashes for some folk and more wear and tear on drive train. We will know soon enough folk queuing up to buy these.

    Met a few on a humongous climb last week we were descending they were all climbing. . One lad from Botswana nearly cried when we told him he had 400 metres still to go to the top.

    As you say tying chargers up for hours could cause a lot of aurguments .. My thoughts are if I was out for a 3 hour ride I need to let battery cool down for an hour I imagine. Then charge for a couple hours that's 6 hours gone already in a day. In an ideal world it sounds great but that's...

    Yes hybrid cars probably a time bomb as well , woodburner stove not enough clearance no linked fire detectors I could go on.

    If you read enough stuff about battery fires you will find every scenario. They can catch fires when their not even being charged. My ebike batteries are in the bedroom cupboards. Laptops go up as well were all doomed , washing machines etc etc.

    I had a dry 23 miler last week bike was still quite dirty , about the same as yours. I fitted one of those horrendous looking rear mudguards , so kept the trousers clean. It will only get worse quickly I'm thinking.

    I was in the Glenbrittle memorial hut in Skye a month ago. , No ebikes ,batteries allowed inside or on the porch out the back. No cables going out through windows either for electric cars. Would we know if we had a dodgy battery ??? mine says made in China on it.

    I nearly converted my tourer but bought a gravel ebike piddly 250 battery but it's cycleable on the flat with battery off. Tempting to convert it now though as wife uses gravel one as well . I could put a hub motor in it with a 1000 battery and do some touring. Too muddy in winter fed up...

    Bane of my life a dropper. Great till you take post out for putting gripper paste on then it goes all to pot , not always though .currently waiting on a barrel end connector as I had issues last ride.

    I had a similar picture on the one piece of exposed flesh just above my rear end with midges . A circle three inch diameter with a hundred bites . Got them taking tent down in morning .One of them nights I paddled in put tent up and inside by 6 pm and not out till tent came down in morning ...
