looking for assistance with a free hub swap. I ran it trouble swapping from microspline to Xd driver. I read the new DT free hubs are interchangeable but I have found when I tighten up the axle the XD free hub binds up. I was thinking the collar is too short allowing the freehub to tighten up...

They probably worked out how many customers they were loosing. I went with Ohlins due concern over the reported issues Fox were having.
