Love my 23 base model carbon levo. Got it on sale with both size batteries! Love the mullet size wheels. I've also had a couple other ebikes, this is the best, I'm also an oldie dude in So. Cal.
Like I posted , most these responders are strong faster dudes & don't really connect to your issues. I replaced the compression fluid in my same fork to Red Line 2.5 wt. fluid, helped quite a bit. My issue is that forks don't move fast enough to respond to high speed rocks & bumps. That...
I'm identical weight as you, & That fork is not very good at all for me same bike. I changed oil in damper side to redline 1.5 weight & turned compression & rebound completely off, helped quite a bit. But, like you still beats me up on fast small bump trail sections. I'm looking for something...
I weigh 150 lbs. Did 20 miles yesterday on same bike & had almost 30% battery left. We did a trail system out of Palmdale with not long steep climbing though. Mostly in trail mode. I changed fork oil in compression cartridge to redline 1,5 weight, surprisingly weigh better fork!
Thanks Frank, my controller has a rectangular connector at the wire end that plugs into the motor. Maybe I can somehow wire my old one to this new one.
I'd be very tempted if it was in the U S
Have a haibike w the PWX2, powerful motor. Only thing I don't like is the trail pitch function that detunes assist unless you are peddling hard.
Have A 2020 Hibike Nduro with external battery. Easy to load in truck with with battery removed, like it better than my 2018 levo s-works.
Hibike just has a better feel for me.
I have a 2020 n-duro in a large. Came with 27.5 both ends. I've installed a mavic Mezzer 29 fork on it, & kept the 27.5 wheels, feels great, plus raised the front end a bit, better for steep downhills. Almost the same thing?
I have fAST bars on both my e mountain bikes. Love them, it's like having an extra 20/30mm bump absorption in the front.
However I've always preferred a plush bike for pounding through rough trails. I see vids of guys pounding down trails with so much camera bounce can hardly see what's going...
