    Bafang M820 Firmware thread

Freda, thank you for testing that. I have been running the 48v firmware and want to get the most capacity front my DIY 48v battery so I'll reflash the 43v firmware. I'll keep an eye out for a new and improved version of the 43v firmware if one becomes available.

Did you notice that you got better range with a 48v battery running 43v firmware since it doesnt cut out as early?

Wow, that's an epic ride! What is your S setting set to in %? I so used to riding my m560 bike so I need everything to be in boost all the time. I'll definitely need to get on making a DIY battery.

temon10, have you tried testing to see what range you can get with your full DIY battery on boost?

    New M820 frame from Seraph/TanTan, the E67.

Currently, it's a stock battery but I will do a DIY battery when I get some of the newer 5.8Ah cells. For me I didn't mind doing the modification as I had already had a bit of damage in that area from using a Fox Float X2 with the large air can. I had it repaired and modified at the same time...

    New M820 frame from Seraph/TanTan, the E67.

I got the top tube modified to give it more space for a coil shock. It clears the frame but I did scratch the top a bit during installation.

Temon10 has what looks like a Fox DPS shock installed so maybe that is close to the maximum diameter you can run??

I'm not sure if that will fit. The Fox Float X2 does not and even the Fox Float X will interfere with the frame top tube.

Hi, I've been following some of your posts on the m820 motor/battery and I'd really like to get your take on some of the work you've done on it so far. I am also working on a m820 project as well and could use some tips. Would you mind connecting on messenger or other platform to chat about it?

I haven't measured the height of the saddle but my inseam is about 82. The seat post is inserted as far as it'll go.

temon10 - I'm very curious to see how you get on with your build. I hope you don't have as many issues as I have.

Thanks for your reply! Unfortunately this bike has been disassembled because the x2 does not fit this frame nor does any coil shocks. Only shocks such as older Fox DPS and Monarchs with slim air cans. I was so excited about trying the bike that I didn't check everything over before hitting the...

    New M820 frame from Seraph/TanTan, the E67.

Hi, I built up a bike with this frame but there is a serious issue with the frame design. As mentioned by other, the shock specs an outdated size but the real issue is the clearance. A shock with a larger air can or a coil shock will interfere with the top tube of the frame half way into its...
