SZZS specific CEF50-main thread (initial builds and troubleshooting related only)

I deal with this in my job, albeit for heavy duty electric semis, not bikes. So yeah, basically the same. LOL I suspect Bafang is just issuing a strong case of CYA. Personally, I would prefer they continue to allow full power below 20% as I feel it's a bit too conservative, but I understand why...

For what it’s worth, I’ll be removing and measuring all of the suspension hardware once my frame arrives. I’ll be sure to share it here once I do. I have some Ti shock mounting bolts, but need the frame to verify sizing.

Woo! Frame is painted. Battery should arrive next week and then I begin the torture of waiting on it while it crosses the ocean.

While I wait for my frame, I’m trying to comfort myself by assessing the growing parts pile. Still have a lot to acquire, but it’s getting there!

Dang, I’m kinda wishing I’d opted for this over the CEF50 I ordered a couple weeks ago…

    Dengfu E69 Frame - Bafang M820 (lightweight)

The listings for this bike are very confusing. I've seen it listed as anywhere from 120mm of rear travel up to 160mm. Very strange...

What's the lower cup look like? If it punched the upper like that, I can only assume it hurt the lower. I can't imagine how the upper would move if the lower didn't?

Hey folks, while I wait for my frame to ship, I want to do all I can to be fully prepared to build when this sucker finally shows up. First off, I've seen the issues some have had with their linkage fasteners. Over the last week I've read through this entire thread, but I don't recall anyone...

Well, thanks for all of the helpful information here I decided to pull the trigger on a CEF50. Now comes the waiting (boo!) and the parts accumulation (yea!). I already have stuff rolling in and getting stockpiled. ETA shows late November, if I recall. I assume ~1.5-2 months for delivery to the...

Has anyone ordered a frame with in-frame routing instead of through the headset?

Can anyone confirm charge rate and time to fully charge the 700 battery? I think I saw that the charger can go up to 4A? Curious how long to charge fully from flat. Thanks!

Oh really? That’s great as I was hoping for a bit more travel than 150. Has anyone measured the vertical travel increase with a longer stroke?

Hey folks, I’m planning on a Fox Float X or X2 for my CEF50. I know the size, but is a trunnion style required or a standard shock? Also, are there any issues fitting either of these shocks? Thanks!

Any more info. to share about this frame? It looks very interesting, but some of the geometry confuses me. The effective seat angle shows to be a slack 71.5 degrees, but in the pictures it looks to be closer to 77 and that appears to be with a mullet setup. The reach for a Large looks very short...

I was looking at the travel and thought I saw 120mm listed for the frame. I may have misread.

That’s beautiful and I love the color! I know you said it was a custom color so I understand if you’d rather not, but I would be very interested in the color code if you don’t mind.
