Other Mastermind “did not” switch on. Then, it fixed itself.

I stumbled upon this Technical Bulletin from Specialized that gives the same info/guidance. Earlier searches with the problem description resulted in nothing; perhaps they need to work on SEO a bit more :)

It could be it but I wonder why the bike battery didn't keep it charged.

This is a small addition to this Mastermind TCU troubleshooting thread. After several months of staying offline in my storage, I could not power the bike up. I was about to suspect that temperature changes may have damaged the Mastermind (I did charge the battery fully). I want to share this pro...

    Mission Control New Specialized app?

I have the same issue with the Kenevo. The new app is not able to find it. I have even unregistered the bike once to do a clean start. Sticking still with the MC + Ride atm. 🤷‍♂️

New to EMTB - Riding Tips

I second that - I feel the lower back doing more work. This summer I did my first group run in Finale with my Turbo Kenevo Expert while the other guys (and the guide) were on Pivot Firebirds. My lower back was "done" by the afternoon.

Valid guess but I didn't introduce any water at that time. Cleaned with a damp rag and only sprayed some silicone in some places.

Yes, there haven't been any anomalies whatsoever. It may have been caused by motor reverse movement when I serviced the chain. I had the battery disconnected and out of the bike, but that's my only guess so far. Just a software glitch.

    Finale Ligure for a first-timer

Thanks for reminding me; I have added both to my list for the next time.

I wanted to share with you an interesting behaviour my Kenevo presented. I titled the thread with “did not” since the bike fixed itself. What happened? After several weeks of mountain rides, I heard the well-known creaking noise from the headset, mostly on a bumpy surface. After reading up...

    Finale Ligure for a first-timer

Before the summer, I made a quick thread about Finale Ligure riding. As it was my first time going there, and the amount of trails felt overwhelming, I figured it would be cool to know if anyone else had similar plans for the summer. Anyway, now I figured I would write up a short follow-up for...

Is anyone from here in Finale Ligure this summer? From 24 July - 4 August.

I got into riding again after 20+ years. Just did my newbie hello. I spent some time in Finale last year and couldn’t help but notice so many bikes around. It got me interested, and after months of research, I decided to ride again myself. So, this summer I will take the bike. I would love...

Hi from an Estonian in Berlin, riding mostly in Italy.

Hi guys, another one on the bike again after 20+ years. I have been reading the forum for about 8 months and finally decided to get my own bike this January. Now, I wanted to say hi :-) I chose the Specialized Kenevo Expert (size S4). Only a few limited runs on tracks so far since Berlin...
