Hi all – I have a Crestline 75/50 with the Bosch Race motor. Today I had the 500wh battery, and when it had about 25% charge it reduced power quite a bit. I turned the bike off and on again and it got better, but then got worse again. It did this a couple of times until I gave up and turned...
Would you be able to tell me what Troydon said about Adjusting the cradle for a shorter battery? I have a 500w battery and it came with just a 3-D printed spacer attached to the bottom of the battery to fill up the space and hook into the battery holder in the bottom of the frame. Was he talking...
Dang, that's going to be an even sicker ride!
Do you recall what the weight of the XO1 set up is (cassette, derailleur, shifter, chain, cable/housing)? Or the wheelset weight?
Just to give an update, I decided to get the 500wh battery and tested it out on a couple of trails. It's not a night and day difference by any means, but I do notice that the bike feels more lively and fun, especially on flat-ish technical parts of the trail where you have to work to build...
Seems to be. I just saw this pink bike article that confirms it: Who Can Still Win the 2023 DH World Cup Overall Title at Mont-Sainte-Anne? - Pinkbike.
Unless there’s a major mishap (crash, etc), seems like it’s really between Bruni and Vergier.
Anyone interested in really good analysis of Snowshoe and other WC races should check out Andrew Neethling's new podcast, called Moving the Needle (https://www.youtube.com/@MovingTheNeedlePodcast/videos).
I haven’t done much research on it, but the new lightweight Giant Trance seems like a great option since it’s pretty light but has full power if/when you want to use it, and you can get a range extender for it. It’s more of a trail bike, so not really comparable with the 75/50, but a great idea...
Thanks for your reply. So far I've only managed to run down the 750wh battery once and I was pretty much out of gas by that time too (I usually run a mix of emtb and turbo+). It would be nice to have two batteries but I wouldn't want to get an extra one just for that reason...if I was going to...
I own a Crestline RS75 (aka RS 75/50) that weighs ~ 53lbs with a 750wh battery. I’m considering getting a 500wh battery for it for those days where my rides are shorter, which will make the bike weigh ~ 50lbs. Do you guys think 3lbs will make a difference in how the bike handles? The goal is to...
I think he's suggesting using the SC Bullit numbers since the bikes are so similar. But I'm wondering if the Crestline may need less PSI in the shock since it has the Cascade link, which I would guess makes it more progressive than the Bullit.
Yes! One question about this though. If you've already filled the ramp up chamber, then the main chamber, and then you want to add a little more ramp up, do you have to empty the main chamber? I'm assuming not but wasn't sure.
I know you didn't ask me but I'll chime in anyway. It seems like the general consensus (including from Troydon) is that the second chamber in the fork should be at least 20psi higher than what Ohlins recommends. And in most reviews of the RXF38 I read, folks seemed to add 5-15psi higher than...
Yeah I don’t think so. By the way, when I said “medium” I meant the RH2, which I guess is actually the small since it’s the smallest size. In any case, running a 210mm on the RH-2 exposes a lot of the seatpost.
I have a medium. The standover height is pretty good, though I haven't focused on it to give more meaningful feedback. I wish I could fit a 210mm dropper, but the most I could get in there was the 180mm one-up. It's still fine, but I've gotten used to the longer droppers on my other bikes so I...
