Not sure where you got the idea that I have this on my Trek Rail 7. I have it on my Riese and Muller MultiCharger and almost all Riese and Muller bikes sold in NZ can be brought with the speed motor as an option which assists them up to 45kph. Perfectly legal in NZ.
