I have a ‘21 Rail 9.8 and even with a 2hr and 20 mile day I still have 60% battery left so for me I see no need to have a bigger one. Take that as a data point for your decision making.

Still setting up the bike and figuring out the suspension, tire pressure, etc that work for me. I’m not much of a MTB’er as it’s all new still to me. I sold the roadie and went from no MTB at all to a hardtail, full sus, then eMTB in the span of the pandemic.
