Did you remember to remove the end cap, because I didn’t! A good pull fixed it though, end cap came out once I turned the bike upside down. Edit: I removed mine entirely for AXS Reverb, so perhaps not relevant to your predicament.

My M20 arrived tuesday, included was a Garmin-mount for the top cap. At least the physical connection is there… 🙃

I was going the same route, but aborted because of a bunch of diagnostics requiring plugging into the LED-remote. I would like to warn about the danger of using sharpish object on the power button located behind the cover. Got mine ruined this way, as it’s meant for pressing with your finger...
