My smart system chip is 700 miles roughly no error
I've been taking it to 26 mph a few times.
Where I live its very windy one way is fighting the wind the other is cycling with the wind.
I'm starting to cycle 17.6mph fighting the wind and 21 - 23 mph with the wind.
Hmm
I notice the speed stays below 16 mph if I'm going 20mph. But if I go down a hill without pedalling it shows the real mph.
The only reason how I'd see it being detected is the cadence and how hard u pedal but that must be a difficult calculation. And to take in bigger chain rings and bosch...
Ye but up could change ur chain ring to a higher tooth and speed would be lower cadence and same speed surely bosch would know this. Unless the motor reads diameter too
I've done 300 miles and smart lock on and no error. I think it may pick up it after a few 1000 miles if the cadence doesn't match the speed but the bosch system doesn't know what chain ring I've got on software hopefully not.
Or eventually the total milage won't add up but who knows 🤷
Still...
There is a new update for the smart system the bike and flow app today.
I decided to update it with the chip installed but not activated and works so far.
My bike is 28kg I could do 17 mph with no wind if I really tried.
My road bike I did atleast 23mph with the wind. I live in a really windy city on the coast.
Ye but surley MTBing there r some flats and u would like to speed up to 20mph if it was de restricted.
Ebikes r pointless going past...
Thing is ebikes r heavy and hitting some1 will break their leg 20 is pretty fast on my ebike.
But I'm all for de restricting to atleast 19 mph its so much more fun. And going down a hill on a MTB doing 20 would be super fun too.
I do see where the government is coming from but 15.5 is to...
Ye online bike sellers in my experience r excellent when selling and 🖕 when they sell it. The bike mechanic didn't put my bike together right no washers on my brakes and chain to long.
The owner de activates his email and sales do not reply.
But this is very minor compared to a car.
I didn't...
