Rode 1000 k on mine. 160 mm cranks are really good but obviously still manage to strike. As with all mtb you have to modulate pedalling over uneven surfaces. Conclusion they are not an issue
I have Wild Fs . Rode over 1000 k off road at various locations. Enduro style. Had a few off and display never popped off mount. No need to secure with extra anything. It’s great / easy to just pop off mount when u stop and are more than 3 steps away from bike and whilst setting up bike out of...
The valve is really close to the frame and does not allow Rockshock pumps to fit. Fitting a topeak pocket pump also feels like you could cross thread as you have such little space to play with. Poor design in my view.
I have the 170 mm and works for me as the pedal arm are 160mm so 12.5mm shorter than my previous bike . I’m 5.10 and about 31 inside leg. Works perfectly
I’ve order a L which hope to get in 2 weeks with a 170mm and was hoping to get full drop to insert. Got me thinking that may not work out as I’d hoped. I have about 31 inside leg. And 170mm saddle to bottom bracket.
As other people have said, feet coming off flats is because of poor technique. I ride both and this year just flats. I constantly tell my self when thing get bumpy ... Heals down heals down .. and position feet with ball over the pedal pivot.
Flats are more fun and allow great movement around...
Filotnie. You put things into prospective really well. I had similar experience buying a Cube a year ago . Local dealer was just crap and newer followed anything up. So I looked on line made a few calls and bought back 3hours away. And never been back to store. So point is local sounds great but...
Ride a 29 Cube C68 and considering top end spec Render but await a Rob review.
A bit concerned about the mail order and no local dealer elements with the Radon option
