It uses the GPS on your phone and connects via Bluetooth through the beeline app. I have used it on my motorcycle around Europe and also once when I rented a motorcycle in Japan.
I have a beeline Moto that I use on the motorcycle and also the bicycle. I paid £150 but you can get a cycle specific beeline velo which should be a bit cheaper.
It's not the most high tech of devices and works in conjunction with your phone but is definitely worth a look.
I have the 1.5 and like you had difficulty removing the battery cover, so I got a strip of skateboard tape and cut a small bit off and stuck it too the metal tap. No problems now
My point is why ride two abreast when you can stagger. That would still leave someone on the outside to prevent a blind overtake and still leave the guy on the outside somewhere to go if a coming car cuts the white line.
As a motorcyclist myself I agree with what you say about truck drivers and the like.
But when following roadies at times I wonder if they have any road craft at all. Riding two or three abreast round bends leaves they guy on the out side nowhere to go if as you say a car coming the other way...
Most of the negative comments I get are from the road guys. If they say anything smart I just shout "single file guys, single file" as I fly by. For some reason it seems to piss them off.
Funny enough when I meet one on their own they never say anything smart but seem interested in the bike.
Just an update. I have tried to charge the battery in the same outlet and indeed have and the same issue again. It charges fine in all the other outlets, so it must be the outlet.
Hi Zimmer.
Had the battery sitting in my kitchen overnight with the plan to charge it before heading out to work so do think the temperature was the issue. I'm a bit worried about using that out let again in case it does something to the battery. Its an outlet that we very rearly use. I'll...
Hi everyone. I was wondering if any of you have had any issues with your Yamaha battery?
I have a Haibike hardseven with the Yamaha pw-se motor and a 400wh intube battery and when I went to charge it this morning it changed fine for the first minute and then the first two lights flashed...
I agree with Andrie, I have used them many times on motorcycles down the years.
Had a Suzuki Bandit once we're the previous owner striped two of the four spark plug threads and I repaired them with a helicoil. Bike is still going with no problems even after replacing the spark plugs a few...
Was looking at a cube stereo as well but couldn't find any in stock. More than happy with the hardseven look forward to getting out on it. Like being a kid again. Lol
Hi guys. To be honest it's not that bad but it's there. Compared to an analogue bike its noticeable, but that's all I have to compare it too and was wondering if it's there in other mid drive bikes or just the Yamaha. I have experience with Yamaha motorcycles and they are always great quality...
