Some clarity required here methinks:
Can you honestly say it worked fine and charged fine, including before you returned it (to all obviously full?) and now it is not charging on his charger? … and also now not on yours?
If was full when you returned it and only after then did it break, then I...
My LBS originally tried to dissuade me from buying/using a 2nd full battery, on the basis that something might get damaged by removing/inserting too often.
I see it this way - the frame has been designed with a removable battery, and Trek doesn‘t limit the number of in/out operations, so if...
That change of gearing in itself will require no adjustment - only a big step change in the granny gears would cause an issue. The problem lies instead in where the new rear axle places the cassette (right/left) compared to the OE setup - in an ideal world there should be no change here either...
I rode a pair of Mazza Trail 2.4, tubeless and 27.5“, across the Alps in July, effectively analogue pedaling and some lift-assist up for enduro trails down. For how I ride, I am more than pleased with the rolling, grip and braking performance compared to the previous Conti Baron 2.4 in general...
… I had already seen both - evoc backpack and a beer can tube that is NLA.
I have the obvious solution (backpack) and I also have a hip bag where I can strap the battery to the outside … so far so good.
I was looking (hoping) for interesting alternatives.
2023 9.8 XT, 650kms - Motor ‚seems‘ to show ‚pedal resistance‘ when going to lower mode after e.g. turboing long uphill. Motor also seems noisier. First service next week, so I will report back …
My Fuel EXe reads consistently about 50% too high compared to Garmin X200s … if the motor thinks I am inputting high powers, will it cut off all the sooner?
I would like to see a ‚multiplier‘ in the app settings so that I can adjust to approx. correct.
If you are not using the higher gears at higher speeds, and instead riding super high cadences, then the motor is turning faster too. That might be an issue.
But if you are cadencing normally, the motor is not doing anything different to e.g. riding fast up an incline (think resistance).
… true, there maybe other e-bikes better suited, but read the post again - he is requesting more relative assistance, not absolute, which hardly changes the EXe’s profile AND anyone who doesn’t want it can simply dial it out.
Is someone thinking too hard? … (or taking the p/$$ …)
A trail can be any non-paved path or way, e.g. coastal, mountain, forest or whatever. Old or new (e.g. made for a specific purpose).
Some might be designated as bridleways, bike trails, religious ways or whatever. Designated and/or...
Aftermarket tips are not going to change how much heat comes out - the pedal foot, load and road speed/terrain will. The tips will also not change where it comes out (unless they also redirect, though usually not common).
FWIW, it looks to me like the carrier wheel trays are too low - this gets...
I tend to um and ah all the cost options too, but in the fast developing e-bike space, your new or less than new bike is going to ‘age’ rapidly - accept this as a given, or do not plan to sell.
So, focus on prioritizing your needs and desires in the performance of an e-bike … get anything less...
Mine are fine, almost too digital for liking, but stopping quickly is certainly not the problem.
If you have already done all of the obvious, then the pads were either contaminated at some point or dud material from the get go.
