New video. After trying different combinations of gears, it seems like my noise issue is the interaction between the motor rotor gear and the third/small gear. Not sure which one of them are the issue.
I put 50t on mine and it clears (dunno if it will hit when the rear triangle flexes under torque). I was afraid to try 52t (would be cutting it close but who knows).
Yeah, Luna Z1, replaced basically every stock part except the frame/motor. Hopefully can finish it soon and take a picture of the finished build.
I was about to suggest switching to 29". Probably your best bet for adding height. Luna and other manufacturers have switched to offering 29"...

I've taken the motor apart and made sure all the gears mesh together well, as well as added a ton of extra grease (very little from the factory) but it still sounds pretty loud.

For CAN I'm not sure a stock cable exists, although I've read you can just get a Y-Splitter for the shift-sensor cable and rig it that way (the stop signals are the same I believe).

After taking some measurements, the lower integrated cup in the carbon frame has a little under 8mm from the bottom of the opening to where it begins to slope (to support the stock internal race/bearing).
