Would just get a refund and wait for the second gen of Fuel exes to come out so these issues would be fixed. It is not worth the time or hassle and best to just get a bike that works properly.

For the 2nd and 3rd new bikes, it was the mechanics who tested it before it developed the issue , so we did not even get to ride it …

You will just need a universal crank puller which is what I used for my wife's bike with her hope cranks. Hope that helps

Yeah there are quite a few in New Zealand. In fact, it has just gone on sale … I just feel bad for the LBS who are also frustrated with the issue and have been super helpful in trying to resolve it. They think it’s a bad batch.

Hey mate sorry to hear that. Hopefully they will update you soon. My LBS were updating us every couple of days and replacing the motor every week for the last 3 to 4 weeks before giving us a new bike.

Hey mate sorry to hear your situation with your giant bike. Thankfully for my fuel exe, I managed to return it and for my wife's fuel exe, Trek have given her a new bike. Giant really should not be pinning the blame on "rider's style".

yup my rail and my wife's rail does make that noise with the cassette tugging. It is just the bosch motor rattle.
