It probably is by volume.

Im looking forward to the less weight.

Size and power increase despite size will come along now that places like formula 1 have taken up E car racing.
This will put billions into research and technology which will filter down to EV/bikes etc.

The more interest in investment and more money committed to it will drive research to find lighter and more powerful battery tech.

I expect ten years or less from now the battery size we have for say a 625 or 750wh battery will a couple of thousand w/h

It will be like comparing a Ford model T to a supercar. Same basic design of engine, but far far more advanced.
