Battery swap levo

Just a quick question
Buying a 500w battery tomorrow as a backup for longer rides

Lad I’m buying it from says he had to take his 700w into shop to be “programmed”
To work from upgrading form the 500w

I thought it’d just work in straight swap like it did on my kenevo
Although I think I had to create a new profile but it just worked

Any info helpful

After a bit of reading I guess he had to have the firmware updated on 700w to work
500w will be fine on mine

Both batteries work on both bikes , there’s no firmware update required for either to work !
