Orbea Wild & YT Decoy. Both fully customized with SRAM AXS Drive train/dropper, Shirgura Brake Set-up, I9 Wheels, Coil shocks & Schwalbe tires.
Use the duck for park bikes and dh stuff, the Wild for everything else and all day epics (have the PowerMore Range Extender).
Each bike has their own...
Couple more considerations, albieut they may not appeal to many. The Wild has a Bosch motor which arguably is on the top tier of available options and you can add the PowerMore 250 range extender which affords for longer rides and is great if you like to camp and can't charge your bike before...
Extended battery range was only a slight factor. The agility on the Wild for being a full 29er is amazing. It performs awesome at slower, techy stuff as well as it eats the dh aspects. Definitely a better climber and the geometry fits my body type/size.
Make no mistake, the Yeti 160e is no...
Having previously owned a Yeti 160e can state its an absolute beast. Defected to emtb's ~5 years ago and have purchased 5 different bikes during this period. Rode the Yeti for ~1 year beforevI sold and went with a custom Orbea Wild.
Had the top of the line Yeti 160e with carbon wheels and I...
The Bosch PowerMore 250 arrived today from Italy and the Orbea mounting bracket from England arrived as well. Connected PowerMore to my Wild and it seems to work as hoped. The PowerMore was not recognized via Bluetooth as a connected component. You need to open Flow App and look for 2 battery...
Nice setup! I'm running an MRP Hazard Coil on my rig. Very happy with dh performance and was also very pleased that I didn't sacrifice any of the Wild's climbing abilities.
From what I've read and a video review I watched , it pulls from both at the same time. Looks like if your main battery runs completely dry, you can connect PowerMore and even ride in boost.
The cable Orbea states to use in 300mm in length. From what I can tell, might be a little longer than...
So I just purchased the PowerMore 250 external battery (live in US, had to buy from shop in Italy due to availability) along with the Orbea mounting hardware for my 2023 Wild.
Everything is due to arrive this week. Checked my Flow App and it shows the PowerMore Battery as a compatible...
I second your Bosch statement. I've been very fortumate with my emtbs that have/had Shimano motors. Bosch Handlebar controller and visual display is much nice than Shimano's.
I've owned 2 Decoys and just got an E-Wild last year. 2 totally different bikes. The Decoy is designed more for the dh aspect and doesn't climb as well as the Wild. Not saying it's a sloth, but it really shines going down. The Wild is the best all-round emtb I've owned/ridden. Previously owned a...
I use this pump which has a way to Bleed the pressure so you can unscrew the pump from shock/Fork without losing any pressure. Kinda expensive, but to me it's worth it. My riding buddies pump about 5psi extra because they know they will lose some pressure during Disconnect.
Sorry about the...
I have a 2024 YT Decoy that I set-up with a SRAM AXS Eagle Transmission Drivetrain and wanted to see if anyone has connected the SRAM Eagle Powertrain Extension Cord to the rear mech to replace the original rechargeable battery?
I have done this on my 2023 Orbea Wild and it worked flawlessly...
