Is it the current situation is there is nothing out there that reliably works with Bosch gen5/rim magnet? I just need another 5mph..

Most One77 models don't have the display. I agree - Bosch need to up their game with their displays and connectivity. Can't be hard to do.

I recently installed the purion 400 on my 177 SLX as I like having a small display. I did it myself and it was quite straight forward to do.

Another UK 177 SLX owner here (Deepcut. Surrey). Had the bike now since early December and just done over 300 very enjoyable miles on it. Only mods done are retrofit Purion 400 display, ergon saddle, icetech discs and ematrix pads. Great bike and my first full suspension bike too. So playful...
