I've always drooled over Unno's and this is no different.
It's not enough travel for me with a non removable battery so its not my spec.
But if the weight of 21. something kg is to be believed for a 800wh full enduro spec bike that is oh for awesome.
It would be nice if it worked like that but it doesn't. All it takes is a bit of grit and moisture to create a valve grinding type paste and boom. You will wear a divot in your nice expensive shock in that spot.
At the very least put some protective tape there and replace it as the tape...
Probably because there isn't a cable getting in the way of something. Troydon does state that a 175 axs can almost be slammed fully.
Luckily for me the 220mm insertion 180mm oneup dropper gets me to my perfect seat height. Though i would prefer a 210 dropper and more insertion depth.
You can always just run the 55 stroke shock after checking that the extra 5mm of shock stroke doesnt hit anything cause any clash when you test it at full bottom out
Yourl end up with more travel.
I have 4 mates with Trek Rails. They are great bikes. Those bosch motor system is indusrty leading. Shimano and sram drive trains are tried and tested. There's nothing other than weird chainline that the manufacturer of the frame can do to make the chains break more than others. My mates with...
Breaking a chain on your first e-bike ride is 100% operator error. Its not the bikes fault. You simply mashed the pedals and changed gears underpower and ping goes the chain. You'll need to re-adjust your technique to allow for motor power and back off slightly while changing gears.
As an...
Ps, I'm mostly in emtb. If I had extra power no doubt I'd use it on occasions for shits and giggles, but mostly I'd role with the existing emtb setting.
My call is the dji motor hasn't had long enough in the market for long term reliability to be truly assessed.
Buy a bosch or Shimano bike for now and consider a dji for you next bike when it's at revision 2 or 3 is out and the gremlins are worked out if the system.
