I tried an old race face bash 36t that is around 5/6mm thick and it doesnt fit. Maybe something 2/3mm thick could fit. -

They are trying spider bash guards, those work when the spider is mounted on the crank. On a e bike the spider is mounted on a shaft...

Big flaw with the dji is there is no provision for a bash guard. They say you can mount one on the spider but I suspect that will kill...

I ofter run my Gen3 with a 29er rear wheel. In the long position and I can fit a DRR 2.4 in the back.
