I was wondering the same thing... My motor is not loud, but I can definitely hear it. In low mode it's pretty silent. In higher assist when riding up steaper stuff, I makes a higher pitched (electric motor) sound. A whining sound....
I also have a perfectly functioning 2023 pennyflake fuel exe. I would also like to hear from people with experience if the firmware update changes anything in available power.

I would expect the need to swap the casette and chain with the new transmission derailleur, but I read somewhere that you can use the existing chainring. This would be nice. I don't see a TQ specific transmission upgrade kit...
