My 2023 Rail 9.8 XT Gen 4 in Satin Baja Yellow has finally arrived. While the color isn’t as loud as the Gloss Volt, there is so much more of it since this one doesn’t have the two-tone scheme. Anyway, the upgrades at the time of initial assembly include:
  • GX Eagle AXS derailleur & controller
  • e*13 e*spec Plus 160mm crankarms & 34t aluminum ring
  • MT7 HCW brakes & MDR-P 220mm/203mm rotors
  • Line Elite 30 carbon wheelset
  • OneUp 180mm dropper & remote
  • RSL MTB handlebar/stem combo with 45mm reach
I also decided to go with a light duty option and my 2023 Fuel EXe 9.8 XT in Deep Smoke has also just arrived. The build is nearly complete and the upgrades include:
  • X01 Eagle AXS derailleur & controller
  • X01 Eagle 10-50t cassette & chain
  • e*13 e*spec Race carbon 160mm crankarms
  • Galfer Wave 203mm rotors & eBike pads
  • Line Pro 30 carbon wheelset
  • SE6 Team Issue TLR 2.5" front tire
  • OneUp 180mm dropper & remote
