You know I was thinking the same myself but I came along the road then I was over the grass but yeah I see what you mean and it does get used

im laughing here yeah it does look wrong and very clean there but it was very dry until I went into hodge close area from Blea tarn, but it does get used in all conditions

So my guess is this was your first outing on the new bike after the Hope bling conversion, car park is literally just out of sight 50yds to the left, and you found the perfect backdrop to get the camera out

No it was about the 5th ride out after the Hope parts were applied just wanted a Langdale pike backdrop in the photo to keep for myself but decided to post on here as I thought it might appeal to fellow mountain bikers, I love to ride my bike in all conditions but love cleaning it well too

Keep posting. You’re bound to get a a few ribs poked when posting a perfect photo like that, especially as now we’re in Autumn, almost winter, and seeing a shiny bike in perfect condition is a rarity

Nice background I've been around there last year. Going to the lakes next week for two days and we have skidda and what I considered to be my most enjoyable ride in the lakes is the loop around coniston.

I think that when you are relatively new to the forum it's very easy to become too defensive ..from what I've read the comments which have offended you really were meant in a light-hearted manner..truth be told most of us like to start out on a clean bike .
Cracking pic by the way but although you gave its location I'm struggling to find it on a map ..is it near Loughrigg Tce..?
Do you ride solo most of the time ..or do a bit of group riding ?
There is quite a healthy collection of riders who meet up on a fairly regular basis from all across the North East & beyond ( 5 of us in Northumberland ) ...you would be more than welcome to join us on a ride whenever it suits you ( by way of showing that we are a friendly bunch )

It is Rose Hip the seeds inside make very good itching powder, drop those down someone’s top they will be itching for a while entertainment of the 70s

Have an autopsy later on i will defrost a few. Someone tried to tell me they were different berries all came from same bush .Be getting a telling off soon for stealing the thread.

I think their for the bin . Everyone has a different opinion as to what they are. Juniper was mentioned today.

Yes that could be them I picked them late September and froze them . Bushes had bright red ones as well i only pickedthe darker ones. If I cut them they would be full of seeds.

Great photo but something doesn’t add up! How did you get your bike to a location like that in the Lake District without a single splash of mud or sprinkling of dust? Even the tyres look brand new!

Well I was trying to work out which one is you and thought you must be the guy with plastic bags over his feet in case your boots get dirty.

As no one is wearing plastic bags I have concluded you’re the guy with no boots on and a knife stuck in your chest ?

Some of the more expensive versions even have "Real dried mud" incorporated into the wrap to give a 3d effect and "A texture which even feels like you took your bike outside"

My first thought was; Wow , that’s an almost perfect picture. My second thought was; That must be a green-screen photo.

My prescription glasses must need updating cause I never noticed the suspension “O” ring. Good find .

I don’t think it’s AI Or photoshop either. The lighting equipment must be perfectly placed.

I must post "something" at least every day and I've never once been offered any incentive to do so ..then I find out that my tartan friend is being paid in bbq ? Ribs ..
