Specialised don't have a bike stand for the Levo, despite having two holes in the L chain stay - weird. Looked on Amazon - most products have no description, bad photos and confusing reviews. Bought a fischer model 85995. Confusing reviews suggested it could be fitted onto a chain stay. Only one picture. Luckily, a bike-riding friend and his machinist flatmate made a bracket. See photo. It works well. However, the original stand bolt and its spring washer is the weak link - it comes loose very quickly. However the stand still works. Will have to go back to Nuts and Bolts, Tasmania. I have full confidence that they will spend 10 minutes finding the best solution and charge 50 cents for a washer or two. Total legends.

Thanks, everyone. If I'd known about this forum, I would have got the right stand in the first place . Appreciate the attitude but I am almost 60yo. The Levo is my everything bike. Will take the stand off when I go into the wild.

Ignore the naysayers and ride what works for you.

That said, you might indeed want to remove it if you "go into the wild".
It would not be good to have it deploy and drop down riding rough terrain.

Cool! I've had to wait to my mid-fifties to be called a naysayer. Give me another couple of years and maybe I'll make it to nimby level.

I have a 2020 Haibike Xduro Allmtn 2.0 that I use for everything including riding all the blue trails in my area. I hate resting the bike on the ground so I added a kickstand. I do keep the stand as short as possible so it doesn't stick out too much when folded up.
