Put this in POTD earlier but it is the most recent image of it, so to date not too much but:

Rockshox Yari
Brendog Deathgrips
E Wilds but temporarily on a Raceface Aeffect 27.5 front wheel with a skinny & not partcularly inspiring Scwalbe Tough Tom while I hunt down a suitable 29 that fits the fork
400ish headset spacers until I get round to chopping the steerer a bit.

How are the forks performing is it worth converting from the OE 35's?

An improvement I think. I say I think as I've only had one ride with them & took my shock pump with me to muck about with the air pressure, so having started out at something like 100psi & ending up with somewhere around 75-80 it's fair to say there's some setting up still to go & remember I'm running them on a crap wheel & tyre for now.

What I would say is the Yari is a better quaity fork than the 35 full stop imo. The immediate thing you notice is an improvement in small bump feel, general suppleness & much better rebound adjustment. I guess these things are horses for courses but I didn't rate the 35 at all & I'm pleased to be shot of it.

Just noticed my 35 forks are wearing on right stanchion first signs of black fading to silver just above dust seal , rockshox are normally bullet proof not impressed with only 6 months of use and they have been fully serviced..

I have a friend who has a new set in his garage in a box unused, I think there will be a lot of 35's available on eBay when everybody starts upgrading.?

Looking lovely . How do zebs compare to lyrics ? Anyone ? No motor guard ... risky ?
I would definitely not remove the motor guard, if riding anywhere rocky, with low ground clearance on stilus you would be wide open to impact damage. What is the benefit of removing bash guard? 400g in weight saving, you could add that weight to bike just greeting it dirty. By the way my Lyrics are a great improvement over stock fork, can not speak about the ZEB i could not afford them.

I removed the bash guard. plenty of Bosch bikes dont even have them. And I spoke with a Bosch technician who said that its something that isnt essential - Bosch motor is pretty well protected in that area out of the factory.

400g is a pretty instant easy saving of weight.

Hope 34t and probably the 36t will fit. If you are SRAM I’d get the 126 link as the chain stay is long - you’ll just need to size it correctly but 126 links will mean you don’t start with a chain that’s too short.
