I could see this as a replacement for SRAM EX, and at these prices, pretty much perfect for an ebike if you're burning through chains and cassettes.

Looks like a pretty damn sensible ebike option to me - you don't really need the 500% range on an ebike unless you're based in the alps, and this is a whole lot cheaper to chew through....

IMO 9 speed XT/XTR was the most robust drivetrain of all time. It always shifted no matter how mucked up it was and once adjusted, it stayed adjusted. Once everything got thinner, and tolerances tighter, we lost that. Not that I don't love my 1x systems, but they are finickier.
