EBike Chains?

My Giant Trance is 6 months old and the chain now needs replacing at 1100 Km. The one that came with the bike is a KMC e.12 Turbo, EcoProteq, e-bike optimised chain.

Can I just replace it with a standard 12 speed chain? I'm looking at a SRAM Chain PC-GX Eagle - 12 speed thats 50% cheaper.

Any advice? Thanks.

Yes you can fit any 12 speed chain. In my experience a better quality chain does last much longer than a cheaper one (SRAM X01 vs SRAM GX) and it's actually working out cheaper to run the better quality chain over time.
