Battery stuck in trek rail

I took my battery out last week fine with no issues and when I went to take it out today the key will go into the lock but won't turn anyone able to help?

Although should work both ways, my Rail key only works one way round. So take the key out and put it in the other way around. Also press the top of the battery in as you turn the key. Works for me.

I need to do that also.
There are 2 security screws, directly under the locking mechanism, which may need loosening unordered to unlock the battery. Realignment will be necessary later.
